Juan is currently driving a Cheverolet for Chip Ganassi/Earnhardt racing. His sponsor is Target stores and has been for quite a while. He is a converted open wheels driver over to Nascar and is one heck of a road racer. He was one of the first foreign drivers to win a Sprint Cup Road Race and is very comparable to Marcos Ambrose in his road racing prowess. His native country is Columbia and is the 2003 Monaco Cup winner for open wheels. 2007 was his rookie year in NASCAR and he won rookie of the year beating out David Reagan that year. He and Kyle Busch don't see eye to eye and their on the track bump and run, bump and crash history goes back 3 years. He also runs a foundation called Formula Smiles which benefits children in his native country and North America which has become one of the sports most active charity foundations.
