Bill was a great asset to this hobby. Always there to listen or talk to when needed, and he was always willing to help guys out with their PC or with whatever they needed. He was a great friend to us all and he will be missed dearly. RIP Bill
Very sad news. I was lucky enough to spend the day with him in Chicago a few months ago. We had a great day and he was happy and in good spirits. He said it was the first time he had been out in a long time.
Bill will forever be remembered for all the crazy trades we made, the BIGGEST Hawks fan, and a true friend and someone that helped any fan get their favorite teams in any break he could. Rest in Peace my friend, it was a true pleasure, and honor to know you. Semper Fi, buddy! Chuck
I am very saddened to hear this. I was actually thinking of him a couple of days ago and was thinking about reaching out to him as I hadn't seen an update from him on Facebook. He was one the easiest people to talk to about anything and he always gave you as much attention as possible. Great friend. Great collector. Great person. R.I.P. my friend
Thanks, Chuck, for posting this on Facebook. I interacted with him a couple of times, but had no idea about his condition, which really says a lot for his character. Regardless of this, it was always fun seeing his name in the breaks and congratulating him on big hits. You are missed, Bill!
