So curiosity got to me and I asked how he knew it was a hot pack, his reply
"Hello Blue. First I would like to say thanks for checking out my auctions. Your interest in them is greatly appreciated my friend. To answer your question, with this paticular 2005-06 sp authentic hockey pack you can tell by by sliding the cards inside the sealed pack and feeling the surfaces of the top of each card with your thumb tip. The rookie autographed cards have a totally different by feel to them then the base cards. The other autographs in the set are very different as well. I have to say it's not real easy to do if you don't know what clues to look for. Fortunately for me I've been doing this for 16 years now so I'm quite good at it. You can verify what you find by using trace paper and a pencil (must be very careful when doing this though). So there you have it buddy. Hope this info addressed your curiosity. Thanks again."

So I guess we now know why most of UD's cards are damaged, this guy must be be part of the quality control team at UD

yeah i bought a few back in the day for testing, one was cool and got a half decent card, another sample was clearly resealed on the bottom. most these guys go to walmart and feel up the packs lol as LCS keep a close eye on loose packs on the counter usually

Yeah I saw someone else say that you can use the barcode to find hot packs...yeah right. I wonder if you bought this pack would he refund if it didn't have the autos, or if it had been tampered with?
