As most of you may or may not know my little guy Nash has Cystic Fibrosis, he was diagnosed at 15 days old and we have been working hard to keep him healthy ever since. Because of the great CF clinic here in Calgary he has been in great hands since first being diagnosed and is doing amazing, a normal little man.
Cystic Fibrosis has come leaps and bounds due to the funds raised from events like this. A cure has been found for one of the mutations of the disease (not the mutation Nash has) and this only means that there are more to come!
In the year since the last walk our little guy has learned to walk himself so he'll be stumbling along beside us for the walk this year. He is doing amazing, growing and becoming very very busy! He keeps me on the edge of my seat that’s for sure. My wife Karen has put together a video to provide a little more information about our story which can be viewed here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFrVCA-joqc
and she has been trying her best to keep up with her blog here http://karenaucoin.blogspot.ca/
Thank you in advance for your continued support in finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. If you would like to make a donation you can do so here http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx?SID=3612752&LangPref=en-CA
Every little bit helps but don't feel obligated and any donation of $20 or more will generate an automatic tax receipt.
Thank you so much!
P.J., Karen and Nash
