Lindros! he has deserved is for quite some time happy for him

Agreed. As it is not a judge of character, Lindros deserves to be in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Just as Pete Rose should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame. It's not about what type of person they are, but how successful of an athlete they were.

Theo Fleury was on the ballot but didn't make the cut

Lindros is a decent pick for the HOF. At the same time, I was quite glad to see the 3 other inductees for this year; Vachon, Makarov and Quinn are all deserving of the honor. Vachon was much overdue, the backbone of the Kings franchise for many years. Makarov's overall career was outstanding, as was Quinn's. As a Canucks fan, I enjoyed both watching him play and coach. And of course, the Big Irishman was also responsible for the Canucks nabbing Bure in the '89 draft, and Linden the year before. And he took the 'Nucks to their closest to the Stanley Cup in the '94 Cup Finals. He was a class act. RIP
